Pastor Maurice Darby and Lady Rochel Darby are a devoted ministry team passionate about faith, leadership, and community empowerment. Pastor Darby has served as the senior pastor of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church for six years, fostering spiritual growth and unity within the congregation.

Lady Rochel, as First Lady, partners with her husband in ministry while actively engaging in community activism and empowerment initiatives. Her dedication to serving others and inspiring change complements Pastor Darby’s vision, making them a dynamic force for spiritual and community transformation. Together, they are committed to leading with grace, wisdom, and a heart for service.

Pastor Maurice Darby

Pastor Maurice Darby is a dedicated servant-leader with a deep passion for ministry and community empowerment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, where he developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and mental health. To deepen his theological knowledge and cultural awareness, he pursued studies in Black Church Studies at Memphis Theological Seminary, enriching his approach to ministry in diverse and dynamic ways.

Currently, Pastor Darby is actively working toward earning his Master’s in Christian Ministry, demonstrating his commitment to continued growth and excellence in pastoral leadership.

For the past six years, Pastor Darby has faithfully led Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, fostering spiritual growth, unity, and service within the congregation. His leadership emphasizes biblical teaching, community outreach, and a heart for helping others discover and walk in their God-given purpose.

Known for his compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication, Pastor Maurice Darby is a dynamic force for positive change in both his church and the broader community.

Lady Rochel Darby

Lady Rochel Darby, affectionately known as First Lady Rochel, is a visionary leader and passionate advocate for ministry and community empowerment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Strayer University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the prestigious Jack Welch Management Institute, reflecting her dedication to excellence and strategic leadership.

Lady Rochel has also pursued theological studies at Memphis Theological Seminary with a focus on Black Church Studies, and at American Baptist Seminary, where she concentrated on Theology. These academic achievements highlight her commitment to deepening her spiritual understanding and equipping herself to serve more effectively in ministry.

As the First Lady of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, she partners with her husband, Pastor Maurice Darby, in fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. In addition to her ministry roles, Lady Rochel is a certified professional in real estate management, exemplifying her multifaceted talents and entrepreneurial spirit.

A dedicated servant-leader, Lady Rochel is passionate about ministry, community activism, and empowering others to reach their full potential. Her grace, wisdom, and tireless devotion have made her a source of inspiration within her church and beyond.
